Hi Everyone,

First and foremost, I know everyone has been waiting for their wage increases provided for in the new contract. We received word that we would see the increase in the paycheck we receive on May 9th. I apologize for any misinformation, but I do believe the estimate of six weeks was given in good faith. It turns out that it will be 8 weeks. I know we've all been waiting a long time, and I am sorry for any confusion in the matter.

Regarding HB 5106...The bill is on the calendar (No. 285). We must begin contacting our local legislators and ask them to to speak with House Speaker Jim Amann and Senate President Don Williams about supporting House Bill 5106 !!
