THE GRIEVANCE FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT COMPLETELY.

 STEP 1:With in 14 days of the Act or Omission from which the Grievance Arises. The complaintgoes to the immediate supervisor for Informal Resolution. They will forward it to theDistrict Chief, who then has 12 Calendar days to reply. If it is returned marked denied orno response is received, the grievance will then go to step

2. STEP 2:When an answer does not resolve the grievance, or no answer is received at Step I,such grievance shall then be submitted to Court Operations. The employee or theUnion shall present the grievance within fourteen (14) days to such designee who shallissue a written response to the grievance within fourteen (14) days.The grievance complaint is signed in the appeal section 3 copies are made; a file copyand forward to Maria Kewer, fax: 860-706-5090, 90 Washington Street, Hartford, CT.06106, and the union at 860-635-1358. If no Reply or Negative Reply move to Step 3 

PLEASE NOTE: you only have 7 days to forward the grievance to step 3. 

STEP 3:When the answer at Step II does not resolve the grievance, the grievance shall besubmitted by the Union representative, or the grievant, or both, to the or his/herdesignee within seven (7) days of the response at Step II.Within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the grievance, a meeting shall ordinarily beheld with the employee, or the Union, or both, and a written response shall be issuedwithin twenty-one (21) days after receipt of the grievance.The grievance complaint is signed in the appeal section make 3 copies 1 file copy andforward to Vicki Marino, fax: 860-706-5090, 90 Washington Street, Hartford, CT. 06106and the union at 860-635-1358. Upon holding the Step 3 administrative hearing, if thegrievance is denied, the grievance will then go before the Grievance committee.
