On August 20, 2015, IBPO attended a petition hearing for the Connecticut Judicial Marshals. As a result of the hearing, an ELECTION will be held on Wednesday,September 16th and Thursday, September 17th, 2015. The purpose of the election is for you to establish your choice for your union representation. The State Labor Board will be conducting the election. Times and locations, determined by the Labor Board, will be posted soon. IBPO Local 731 will continue to move forward with contract negotiations until we are told otherwise. We cannot let this election distract or derail our objective. IBPO Local 731 is determined to get our members a substantial pay increase,stronger seniority language, and provide better working conditions. Your Local has the institutional knowledge, experience dealing with the state, and we now have the BEST negotiator to advocate on our behalf!
