The local attended the informal OSHA hearing held on 5/24/18. Judicial will not be challenging the OSHA issued safety citations. At the informal hearing, Judicial produced invoices for the purchase of ballistic and puncture proof vests. The vest are purchased prior to being fitted. The vests that Judicial purchased , and will be issued,are the exact same vests that are issued to Connecticut State Police. Every Marshal will be fitted and issued a vest. Once fitted, it will take approximately 45 days for the vests to arrive. OSHA will continue to monitor the process until its completed. Judicial is also required to give monthly progress reports to OSHA.
